In January they raced their cars in the Pinewood Derby.
In February, the cub scouts visited the Aerospace Museum of
California at McClellan Air Force Base. It was open cockpit day
so the boys got to climb into a lot of different planes.
They had a great time.
The boys got a chance to sew their own red vests that they
put the patches they earn on. Hayley brought her sewing
machine to help out.
In March, we went up to the snow to go inner tubing at a Tube
Run. This was Parker's first time in the snow and he had a blast.
He loved going down the tube run, the weather was perfect and
the scenery was beautiful.
The cub scouts celebrated their anniversary with
their Blue and Gold Dinner and Parker was awarded his
wolf badge.
The cub scouts had an overnight trip to the USS
Hornet docked in Alameda. We had a great time touring
all over the ship and learning a lot about it. The bunks were
actually pretty comfortable and we were made crew members
and our pack helped serve breakfast in the morning.

The ship's infirmary is said to be haunted.
WOW! Those are pretty interesting pictures. I loved them. Parker has done some amazingly fun things this year.
ReplyDeleteFinally pictures! Yeah! Everything looks so fun. Maybe you should resend the link to your blog to Daddy, I'm not sure he has it.
