Christmas Day

Now that the kids are older Christmas morning is not quite so
hectic or so early.  We started around 9 am with presents
from Santa.

Then we moved to the living room to start opening presents.
We stopped for breakfast around 10am and had homemade
waffles and sausage.  Then got back to the presents.

Then on to stockings.  I tried to talk them into waiting until
after dinner to open them, but Parker and Hannah didn't
want to wait.  After dinner Parker was sad there wasn't
any more presents to open so we decided that next year
we would save the stockings until the evening.

We ate Christmas dinner around 6:30.  We had spiraled
ham, scalloped potatoes, homemade rolls, lime jello and
apple pie for dessert.

  1. If they're older, how come Santa still comes? Looks like a good Christmas morning. I see the ubiquitious head massager in Hannah's stocking. How was the pie? Thanks for the pictures.

  2. The kids love Santa so he keeps coming. Everyone actually likes the head massager, I got one too. The pie was good. Tim loved it but I thought it could use a little more sugar.
