Six Flags Discovery Kingdom

In August, Hayley, Hannah and her friend Sandra,
Parker and I drove to Vallejo and spent the day at
Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (formerly Marine World).
The weather was perfect and we had a great day.  It
had been almost 15 years since Tim and  I had been
there last when the girls were little (though Hannah
has been multiple times with her friend). Some
things had changed of course, a lot more thrilling
roller coasters but they still had many
wonderful animals shows and the kids and
I really enjoyed the whole day.

Odin's Temple of the Tiger Show.  Such
amazing and beautiful animals.

The killer whale show was great.

Parke wanted to look like he was lifting up the
lion on the rock.  Turned out pretty good.

Watching the sea lions frolicking around.  So cute.

Hayley can never resist having her picture
taken with a pirate.

The Dolphin show was awesome.  It was Parker's
first time ever seeing one and he loved it.

Hannah and Sandra after riding Roar, the giant
wooden roller coaster.

  2. Hayley and I went on it. She was nervous as she still is getting used to going on the big roller coasters but it was a lot of fun. I love the wooden coasters.
