Parker's cub scout pack planned a great day trip
to Folsom Lake. The weather was perfect and
after we set up our little camp, we took the
boys geocaching for the first time. They enjoyed
it, especially picking a trinket out of the cache. Then we went
back to the lake and had lunch and spent the rest of the
afternoon swimming. Everyone had a good time.
Heading off to look for caches using the
pack's new gps unit.
Trying to get a cylinder cache out of a
hole in the rock.
Looking at all the cool stuff in the cache.
Playing frisbee out in the lake.
It looks like Parker has had a really great summer with lots of different experiences. I'm glad for him. In the last picture he looks so tall. I'm sure it won't be long before he will be taller than I am.
ReplyDeleteLooks hot. What did you bring to trade with for the geocaches?
ReplyDeleteRandy had picked up some little trinkets things that you get out of those quarter machines at the grocery store so we used those to trade with.
