Now we are in September, and Rocklin has their
2nd annual Patriot Day Celebration. It is a day
for the city to celebrate its heroes and there are
many displays, police, fire and the military show up
with vehicles to look at and for the kids to climb in.
Many local vendors have booths there as well.
Parker and Jack had a good time climbing
in the all the vehicles and the Sheriff's Dept.
helicopter even landed in the parking lot and
they got a chance to sit in it.
Sounds a lot like our Big Toy Day here in Lexington. The benefits go towards programs for children in our community. We also have planes, boats and utility truck, and all sorts of things for them to climb on. Lots of fun for them.
